Melanie Clarke hails from Rhode Island and is nautical by nature. She is also one of those really “detail-oriented” personalities. She moved to Florida in 1999 and started working for Holland America Cruise Line as their bookkeeper.
Nine years later, she took a break for 6 months for a European trek before resuming work as a yacht administrator for Fraser yachts. There she was responsible for assisting captains with their books. Shortly thereafter, she landed a position as office manager and accountant with United Marine in Fort Lauderdale. Four years later, Neptune Group Yachting welcomed Melanie as their companies’ Accounting Director.
An experienced sailor, Melanie has a Transatlantic crossing under her belt and numerous miles of open ocean sailing.
Melanie loves the water and other aquatic activities. Rosie, her golden lab, is a constant companion.
